Qualius Lodge: ¡el factor sorpresa de Mele Bay! Un paraíso privado junto al mar en Port Vila

Beautiful unique property in great location Positive: Absolutely beautiful property, particularly the garden entrance and grounds which are so well maintained. The house was comfortable, clean and spacious. You can jump into the water directly from the property and go snorkelling (which we did) and loved it. The staff were very friendly as well. Negative: There could be a bit better communication between the staff which was a bit awkward at times. Also the pool was dirty - but nothing major and definitely still fine for swimming.

Staying right on the water in privacy and luxury in a Sun filled house. Positive: As a family of eight we really enjoyed our nearly 2 week stay at Qualis lodge. Walking down the driveway surrounded by giant trees covered in vines and ferns was amazing. Waking to a sun filled house and ocean views is how a Vanuatu holiday should be. Fans and AC units relieved us when the humidity hit, but the sea breeze was amazing, to the point we had to shut doors sometimes. When the sea was calm the snorkling out the front was some of the best on the island. You can walk 4 doors down to Island Magic where they have a ramp and ladder for safe sea entrance, and then enjoy a great meal or beer at Birdies restaurant. Having Rosie make our beds daily and provide fresh towels was a really nice touch. There were even boardgames for those rainy or lazy days that you didn’t want to leave. Being animal lovers we loved opening our door and discovering Bella, Luna, Mollie waiting for pats. And even a beautiful friendly cat we named Cookie who was super affectionate. Sitting in bed reading and looking out at the sea was amazing. Walking to Tanna Coffee was enjoyable and even hitched a ride with a local, riding on a ute tray is an experience. Negative: Would have loved a few big comfortable chairs to curl up in and read a book. Location meant you had to pay for Taxis or hire a car. Didn't realise the buses don't regularly travel down Devil Point Rd.
